  • How do I enrol my child at Discovery Kids?
    Please visit the How to Enrol webpage for enrolment instructions.
  • I have enrolled my child; how do I make a casual booking?
    Casual Bookings, including Vacation Care bookings, can be made through the My Family Lounge APP that can be downloaded to your smartphone. Simply log in with your account details, select the Service you wish to use and book the days of care you require.
  • What qualifications do the Educators hold?
    Our Coordinators and Qualified Educators all hold relevant qualifications in Education and Care including Bachelor Degrees in Teaching, Diplomas in School Aged Care and Early Childhood Education. Our staff also undergo First Aid Training and Child Protection Training each year, along with plenty of other opportunities for Professional Development. Our team members are carefully selected to ensure we are providing the best possible care for your children.
  • How do I update my account details?
    You can log into your My Family Lounge account at any time to update your details or make changes to your bookings.
  • What activities are held during Vacation Care?
    During Vacation Care, the children participate in a variety of Excursions, Incursions and on-site activities each day. Visit each school’s individual page for the upcoming Vacation Care Programs which provide a timetable of activities for the school holidays at each centre.
  • How do I create or change a permanent booking for my child?
    Permanent Bookings can be made through My Family Lounge under “Booking Requests”. Select the start date and the regular days of care you will require at Discovery Kids. An offer will be emailed to you and the booking will be confirmed when the offer is accepted.
  • How do I access the Child Care Subsidy (CCS)?
    Upon enrolment you will be asked for your and your child’s individual CRN numbers. If you are eligible for the Child Care Subsidy, we can submit your details to Centrelink to confirm that you are enrolled at a Child Care service. You will receive a message in your myGov inbox to confirm your child’s enrolment. Once confirmed, your subsidy entitlements can be applied to the fees.
